Sky Cabin Berlin was a success in term of the design that are based on the solar studies and energy consumption. However, it had a problem in the amount of direct sunlight. In this individual project, Sky Cabin improve its design to have a good amount of direct sunlight and have a better living space. The addition of shading device make Sky Cabin has a well-lit area. Moreover, Sky Cabin provide tenants not only to have their private balcony on the second floor, but also a semi-private area balcony on the north side to allow resident communicate with their neighbor.
